Levi’s “Loved to Death” 501 Asia Exclusive
Going against the popularity of raw denim of the last few years, Levi’s release a highly distressed and faded version of their signature straight leg, the 501. The jeans are based on an archival pair originally worn by a man named “Homer Campbell” over the course of three years and subsequently obtained by Levi’s. With little left in the form of that rich blue indigo color, the jeans feature extensive rips, fraying and repair work. The Asia-exclusive “Loved to Death” 501s are each individually numbered and available now at select Levi’s retailers across Asia.
NEIGHBORHOOD 2010.1ST EX SERIES “THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN” Collection March Releases
NEIGHBORHOOD has updated its catalog to reflect the upcoming March releases. The collection features some highlights in the form of jackets as well as design-intensive button-up shirts.
DRx serves up a sneak peek into his latest project with Levi’s, a small capsule for Spring/Summer 2010, dubbed California Beach. Included within the pack looks to be a pair of classic Levi’s denim as well as a pair of sneakers, both inspired by none other than vintage California. A release can be expected this season through select accounts worldwide. Stay tuned for further information in the coming weeks.
This season, FUCT releases its first forays into denim with two offerings. Based on Okayama selvedge denim, details include YKK New Max metal hardware. The YKK New Max line is based on replications of vintage Scovill trims, a company subsequently purchased by YKK. Two versions include raw and washed. Available soon at select FUCT SSDD retailers strictly in Japan.
